• twelve bottles of nail polish. we're boring, i know.

• one gorgeous silk scarf. i wish i thought i'd ever wear it.
• one glass vase. painful, but likely i won't remember it in a week.
• a really lovely wooden keychain. there are a lot of keychains in the world.
• one lip gloss. very sticky.
• three embroidered pins. poor color choices.

• a pair of beloved crocs. even gardening shoes reach a point of no return.
• a clock. it's been showing the wrong time for at least two weeks, so apparently i don't really use it.
• seven bottles of nail polish. an obsession comes to an end.

• one graphic novel. it's zeus!
• one tube of lip gloss. extremely pink.
• one glue pen. which seems like one iteration too many.
• a neti pot. such a great idea. but no.
• one dishtowel? cleaning cloth? with a lovely tree motif.

• one more green plastic cup. a terrible shade of green.
• one bar stinky soap. not in my shower...
• three makeup sticks. eyes? lips? brows? i'm not good at makeup.

• a popsicle stick sculpture. or at least structure.
• a tube of mascara. masquerading as a marker and hiding among the pens.
• two rocks. yes, friends, more rocks.
• a box of junior mints. i really love junior mints.

• one jacket. jackets are my weakness.
• one shirt. i just do not wear red.
• one tiny green chair. you know how something invested with fond memories seems very precious, then you realize that it's really junk? um, yes.
• one jump rope handle. i have no idea.
• one tube of lip glossy stuff. yuck.

• a bottle of makeup. wishful thinking.
• a bottle of theanine. not one of my essential aminos, apparently.
• a pair of pajamas. the easiest kind of clothing to keep around for too long. 
• a pile of dead ballpoint pens. one of which i picked up at a juneau hotel during my honeymoon twelve years ago. it outlasted my relationship by three years, though probably got less use.

• one tube of lipstick. i love lipstick. i do not really wear it.
• one hand towel. color bias - it is purple, the others are not.
• one tupperware bowl. still no lid.
• one pair of glasses. worse than useless, as they almost allow me to read.
• one purse. adored last summer. it has lost its appeal.

• a bottle of bug repellent. two should be adequate.
• a baseball. starting to split.
• a tube of lipstick. i love lipstick. i rarely wear it.
• a brow definer. i'm not really clear on how to use this.
• a bottle opener. no bottle in this house is in danger of staying closed.

• one credit card account. unused.
• perfume samples. blech.
• three more little kid books. they got a lot of use here.
