- ten paper grocery bags. i thought i always used cloth bags.
- four pieces of hardware. only vaguely identifiable.
- one chair. too many chairs here.

- one rubber ball. no end to these.
- one dart. can't remember what happened to the dart board.
- one bottle Modge Podge glass sealer. old old project.
- two blogs. good ideas, not to be pursued.
- a chair. how do we have so many chairs?
- a bookcase. fewer books = fewer shelves
- a mattress. hard to discard, no one wants these.
- a bedframe. we're over twin size.
- a set of sheets. no longer needed.

- two belts from dresses. i take them off, then i keep them. why?

- six champagne flutes. dozens left, but that's another story.
- three flower pots. you can have too many flower pots.

- when buying emergency supplies, only keep the ones that are solidly made and if possible do not choose items that require batteries.
- a bottle of hair conditioner. i knew we would hate it before we even opened it.
- one fork and two spoons. they don't have to match, but they do have to complement.
- an unattractive pair of earrings.
- the so cute box that housed the earbuds. so so cute and so so useless once the contents were removed.
- two newspaper clippings. i confess i did not read them. but thanks!
- a post-it pad. no job, no desk, no reminders. no worries.

- a whole pile of cds and empty cd cases. i love shedding old technologies. move to cloud almost complete.
- one green tank top. no idea where it came from or where it will end up.
- a pine cone. a present; appreciated and now released.
- one pair chemical hand warmers. apparently expiration dates are occasionally correct.
- a bottle of elmer's with a *little* bit of glue inside. intense frustration averted.
- thermal cup cozy. wretched thing, no doubt destined to end up in a garbage island in the pacific.
- three rolls of christmas-themed wrapping paper. good presents deserve great presentation.
- a pair of slippers. tiny, tiny slippers.
- one bag full of corks. which do not, after all, make excellent bulletin boards.
